On Saturday January 19, 2019, Ben Hoffman, aka Wheeler Walker Jr, posted a tweet calling for violence against a child  and that he would compensate anyone who did.

Wheeler Walker Jr aka Ben Hoffman has since deleted his tweet but did not publicly retract or apologize for his call for violence against a child.

Wheeler Walker Jr aka Ben Hoffman, presumably tweeted his call for violence after believing a fake news story published by CNN and other media outlets. The story claimed that children surrounded and intimated a native american Vietnam War veteran. The true story, which was readily available at the time via full length videos of the event showed the opposite, the native american who in fact is not a Vietnam War veteran ( he served as a refrigerator mechanic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIXIzvyAlLA ) approached and tried to intimidate the children as members of his group shout racial attacks on the children.
